GRAND ISLE SCHOOL BUS ROUTES

2006-2007

Welcome to the 2006-07 school year. Grand Isle will start with a FULL DAY session on Wednesday, August 30, 2006. There will be two (2) buses for the first and second run. The bus drivers for this year are Dale Baker and Brian Jillson.

NOTE: Student are NOT to arrive early unless given prior written permission by the teacher, since the school does not provide supervision for early arrivals.

SCHOOL TIMES

Kindergarten – grade 4…….7:45am to 2:15pm.

Grades 5-8………………….8:45am to 3:20pm.

DALES FIRST RUN – MORNING (K-4)

Dale will start his run at 6:50am. He will be leaving the school turning left on Route 2 south, left on East Shore South, right on Townline Rd, right on Route 2 north, turn around at the Grand Isle State Park Road, head south on Route 2, then right on Pearl St., left on Bell Hill Rd, turn around at Fish Hatchery, left on Pearl St, right on Allen Rd (Route 314), right on Route 2 south, turn around at the Grand Isle State Park Rd, and head north on Route 2, going past the school, then right on East Shore North, turn around at Ladd Point, left on Route 2 south returning to the school at approximately 7:45am.

DALE’S SECOND RUN – MORNING (5-8)

Dale will leave school at 7:55am and go left on Route 2 south, right on Hyde Rd, right on Reynolds Rd, turn around at Hodegkins Place then south on Reynolds Rd, right on Hyde Rd, left on Adams School Rd, turn around corner of Adams School Rd and Allen Rd, north on Adams School Rd, left on Moccasin Ave, right on Adams Landing Rd, left on Moccasin Ave, left on Simms Pt Rd, turn around at farm, back south on Simms Pt Rd, left on Griswold Rd, left on Route 2 north, turn around at drawbridge then back south on Route 2, left on Faywood Rd to East Shore North right on Route 2 north to school. Arrive approximately at 8:45am.

DALE’S FRIST RUN – AFTERNOON (K-4)

Dale will leave school at 2:15pm. He will be leaving the school turning left on Route 2 south, left on East Shore South, right on Townline Rd, right on Route 2 north, turn around at the Grand Isle State Park Road, head south on Route 2, then right on Pearl St, left on Bell Hill Rd, turn around at Fish Hatchery, then left on Pearl St, right on Allen Rd (Route 314), right on Route 2 south, turn around at the Grand Isle State Park Rd, go north on Route 2, past the school, then right on East Shore North, turn around at Ladd Point, left on Route 2 south returning to the school.

DALES SECOND RUN – AFTERNOON (5-8)

Dale’s second run will leave the school at 3:20pm. This run is the same as the morning run.

BRIANS’ FIRST RUN – MORNING (K-4)

Brian will start his run at 6:45am. He will leave the school yard turning left onto Route 2 then right on Hyde Rd left on Adams School Rd, right on Quaker Rd, right on West Shore Rd, turn around at the farm, return south, left on Quaker Rd, right on Adams School Rd, right on Allen Rd, turn around, head east on Allen Rd (Route 314) to left on Reynolds Rd, left on Hyde Rd, right on Adams School Rd, left on Moccasin Ave, right on Adams Landing Rd, left on Moccasin Ave, right on Reynolds Rd to Hodgekins Place, turn around, go back north on Reynolds Rd, north to Simms Pt Rd, turn around at the farm, return south on Simms Pt Rd then left on Griswold Rd to Faywood Rd to East Shore North, right to school at approximately 7:40am.

BRIAN’S FIRST RUN – MORNING (5-8)

Brian will leave school at 7:55am turning left on Route 2 south, right on Pearl St, left on Allen Rd (Route 314) left on West Shore Rd, left on Bell Hill Rd turn around at Fish Hatchery then back west on Bell Hill Rd, right on West Shore Rd, right on Allen Rd (Route 314), left on Reynolds Rd, right on Hyde Rd, right on Route 2 south, left on East Shore South, right on Townline Rd, right on Route 2 north to school at approximately 8:45am.

BRIAN’S FIRST RUN – AFTERNOON (K-4)

Brian will leave school at 2:15pm. Leaving school, turn left on Route 2 south, right on Hyde Rd, left on Adams School Rd, right onto Quaker Rd, right on West Shore Road north, to Moccasin Ave, left on Adams Landing Extention around circle back to Moccasin Ave to 4 corners, turn around go back west on Moccasin Ave, left on Adams School Rd, right on Allen Rd, turn around go back east on Allen Rd (Route 314), left on Reynolds Rd, right on Hodgekins Place, turn around and back north on Reynolds Rd to Simms Pt Rd, turn around at the farm and return south, left on Griswold Rd to Faywood Rd to East Shore North, right on Route 2 to the school..

BRIAN’S SECON RUN – AFTERNOON (5-8)

Brian will leave school at 3:20pm. Leaving school turning left on Route 2 south, right on Pearl St., left on Allen Rd (Route 314) left on West Shore Rd, left on Bell Hill Rd, right into Fish Hatchery, turn around, back north on West Shore Rd, right to Allen Rd, (Route 314), left on Reynolds Rd, right on Hyde Rd, right on Route 2 south, left on East Shore South, right on Townline Rd, right on Route 2 north to finish route at school.
