It was noted at this time
that the dishwasher in the kitchen needs to be replaced-$5000 has been allocated
for this;

go down due anticipated reduction in principal salary-allow $65000+Family Plan;

based on spending per pupil

threshold;

average State Rate-nb K-6 & 7-8 are at different rates;
-increased student count
drops cost per pupil-should
tuition students be encouraged? -discussion on this topic-offers to other
towns?;
-Grand Isle taxpaying: last
year 1040 tax returns total; 344 Prebated Homesteads; 46% of school tax
relieved;

-What are the reasons for
the Projected Tax Increase?;
-UAPK in the Budget?-a
specific voter item?;
-Provide handouts;

ADDITIONAL
TEACHER:
-It was noted that the
budgetary requirements of hiring an additional teacher could push the cost per
pupil above the $11728 threshold;
-Herb felt that the Board
needs more information on this issue-
-A PRESENTATION BY THE
FACULTY ON THE NEED FOR AN ADDITIONAL TEACHER is requested at the 9 January
